Pioneer Page: Maria Pateman (nee Aiken) circa 1811-1887.

 Birth: Approximately 4 December 1811 (or ~1809 based on 1825 muster age 16), Parramatta area, Colony of New South Wales. Eldest surviving daughter of John Aiken and Frances Randall.

Death: 23 April 1887, likely in the Field of Mars/Carlingford area, NSW (aged ~76). No newspaper obituary or funeral notice found in digitized records—no burial details confirmed yet.

Marriage: 17 August 1855, Pennant Hills area, NSW, to Samuel Pateman (born ~28 June 1815, Redbank/Parramatta – died 29 December 1894, Wyoming/Gosford area).
