Mr. JOSEPH W. LANCASTER
CASINO, Tuesday.

Mr. Joseph William Lancaster, whose death took place at the week-end at his home in South Casino, had resided in the Casino district for 58 years. 

He was born at Mittagong 78 years ago, his parents being the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Lancaster. 

He was a well-known figure in timber circles and was engaged in log hauling to Irvington and Casino sawmills for many years. 

He is survived by his wife and daughters, Mesdames N. Schofield (Kyogle), T. Waters, C. Wilkinson and H. Child (Casino), P. Nicolia (Moree), and Miss N. Lancaster (Casino). Sons are Joseph (Casino), Stanley and Laurie (A.I.F.). 

Mrs. N. Donnelly, of Bentley, is a sister. The funeral moved from St. Mark's Church of England yesterday for Casino cemetery, Rev. O. N. Manny officiating at the church and cemetery. Trevor D. Bevan conducted the funeral arrangements.
